Casa Pancole – Il Rustico is located at the “Gates of Chianti”, in the heart of Tuscany, in the municipality of Cavriglia in the Pancole area between Valdarno and the Chianti area: hills covered with vineyards, olive trees, cypresses, chestnut woods. Surrounded by wineries, it is possible to taste and buy Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Chianti Wines and Chianti Classico D.O.C.G.
Pancole Home is an ideal place to relax while staying in an apartment immersed in the quiet of the green of nature, but also for those who want to have a comfortable base to organize visits and excursions to the art cities of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, or to taste the excellent Chianti wine and food products with its wines and castles: Gaiole, Vertine, Meleto, Brolio, Radda, Volpaia, Castellina.
Pancole is a historical place. The first traces of the farmhouse can be found in the writings of the monks who traveled around the area since 1200. It is also present on the maps of the Catasto Leopoldino (1821-1822).
The area of Pancole as well as being immersed in nature is situated in a privileged position that in summer always ensures a cool temperature and breathtaking sunsets. In the immediate vicinity there is a tourist information point and a bus stop. Pancole Home is located on the Via Chiantigiana road, a beautiful and historic street that connects Florence to Siena with a succession of curves and relaxing paths to do by bicycle, motorbike or car. Along the over 40 km of asphalt it is possible to stop countless times to take some photos or to visit one of the many Tuscan villages touched by this road or the various wineries. The nearest towns are Cavriglia, San Giovanni Valdarno and Montevarchi. By car you can reach Florence, Arezzo, Siena and all the surrounding Chianti area in about half an hour.
Every year on the white roads of the Chianti is held the cycling race and the festival of the Eroica: cycling event, which takes place since 1997 with the particularity of recalling the cycling of the past, with routes that take place largely on white roads with bicycles and vintage clothing.
