“Casa Pancole” and the COVID-19 pandemic
For us at Casa Pancole, cleanliness and hygiene has always been a priority to make our guests feel at ease and now more than ever it is important to us to let you know what we are doing to ensure maximum safety and allow you to return to stay at Casa Pancole in peace to make you relive the relaxation you need.
Structural measures
Your apartment at Casa Pancole has always been all yours, with an independent entrance and a private garden, but to guarantee even more security and social distancing the garden of about 2,000 m2 reserved for you, equipped with comfortable wooden benches in style with the environment surrounding and the whole area reserved for you is delimited. You will then have parking for one car reserved for you.
At Casa Pancole you will find adequate information on anti-coronavirus prevention measures, also understandable for customers of other nationalities.
Check-in / Check-out policies
For your maximum safety, Check-outs and new Check-In are spaced at least 72 hours; moreover 24 hours before your Check-In the apartment is cleaned one last time and sanitized by the staff equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) with a special product based on 0.5% Hydrogen Peroxide (hydrogen peroxide) and Ethyl Alcohol at 75%, as indicated by the World Health Organization for sanitation from Coronavirus.
Following a Check-List all surfaces and everything in the house is scrupulously treated with 0.5% Hydrogen Peroxide, (hydrogen peroxide) or 75% Ethyl Alcohol to kill the possible presence of Coronavirus and then the apartment is left to air until your arrival. No other person will enter the apartment after his sanitation other than you upon your arrival.
The linen reserved for you is taken in closed envelopes from the professional laundry and is always left in the apartment in a sealed envelope. You will be the one to touch it for the first time upon your arrival.
In the apartment you will find three garbage bins: one for paper, one for unsorted and one for plastic and glass. Outside the apartment you will find a special basket where you can throw all the PPE you will use during your stay.
For check-in you will find the keys already inserted in the door at the agreed time of your arrival, the contract to be signed to register will be left on the table outside the apartment and you will have the right to send us your identification document via WhatsApp.
You will therefore have no close contact with Angela, Riccardo and little Adelaide, although we will remain at your disposal for your entire stay as we live upstairs.
Check-Out is typically required by 11:00 in the morning, but during the entire Coronavirus Pandemic period you will have the right to leave the apartment whenever you want by the day of Check-Out.
This is because after your Check-Out the apartment will remain closed for at least 72h before being rented to another guest.
At the time of Check-Out you have the obligation to leave all the windows of the apartment open, with mosquito nets and shutters closed to allow the ventilation of the apartment pending sanitization.
Cancellation policies
You will have the right to cancel your reservation up to 24h before your Check-in without being held back by Casa Pancole.
Extraordinary services for an extraordinary moment
Under the porch, before entering the apartment you will find a hand sanitizing gel dispenser, disposable gloves, surgical masks and the possibility of leaving your shoes outside the door on a special 0.5% Hydrogen Peroxide based sanitizing mat.
Inside the apartment you will find antibacterial soap to wash your hands both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. In the bathroom you will find an additional hand sanitizing gel dispenser. To ensure maximum safety you will not find the classic bottles of shower gel and shampoo.
You will also find at your disposal everything you need to clean the bathroom fixtures and the terracotta floor with a special product.
You will also find a convenient ready-to-use spray based on 0.5% Hydrogen Peroxide if you want to sanitize the surfaces of the apartment.

Discovering the countries of Chianti Classico
The “capitals” of Chianti are the cities of Florence and Siena and its lands stretch right between the two provinces: it is 70,000 hectares which fully comprise the municipalities of Castellina in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Greve in Chianti , Radda in Chianti and in part those of Barberino Tavarnelle, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Poggibonsi and San Casciano in Val di Pesa.

How is the Coronavirus situation in Italy and in particular in Tuscany?
The World Health Organization has produced a document with guidelines to be followed in the hotel and non-hotel sector, based on the evidence currently available in the transmission of the pandemic caused by the Sars-CoV-19 virus; and this represents the text to which governments from all over the world are inspired, including Italy and our Tuscany Region to define the directives that the tourism sector must comply with in order to return to hosting tourists in its own structures.
Extraordinary measures have been introduced in Italy for the containment of the Covid-19 epidemic, but from today, 3 June 2020 it is possible to move freely within Tuscany and between one Italian region and another, wearing masks in indoor places , including means of transport, and in any case in all situations where the interpersonal safety distance cannot be guaranteed. Children under six years of age and people with disabilities not compatible with the use of the mask are not subject to the obligation.

To date in Tuscany the new cases of COVID-19 are 0.1% more than the total of the previous day. The healed reach an altitude of 8.053. The tests performed reached 257,178, 3,333 more than yesterday. The currently positive are 1,011, -6.6% compared to yesterday. The number of people hospitalized in the beds dedicated to COVID patients is still reduced, which today is a total of 110, including 25 in intensive care.
Tuscany is confirmed in 10th place in Italy as a number of cases. Among the Provinces of notification of Coronavirus positive people, Florence has 343 people, Siena 164 people and Arezzo 118 people who are currently positive.
